The Green Key is an international sustainability award, managed by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) and awarded to establishments that meet criteria verified by independent audits. Our establishment is committed, among other actions, to implementing an environmental management system, optimizing energy and water consumption, separating and sending waste for recycling, using ecological cleaning products (with Ecolabel certification or equivalent), promoting the consumption of seasonal and local products, and avoiding the use of synthetic pesticides in green spaces.
By choosing accommodation with the Green Key award, you are supporting more conscious and transparent tourism. The Green Key program is present in more than 60 countries, and its management in Portugal is ensured by ABAAE (Blue Flag Association for Environment and Education).
